The News

       The stories on these pages were published in the Madison Capital Times or Wisconsin State Journal, as noted. Most concern the Teamsters Local 695 work stoppages in 1974 and ’75, but coverage of strike-related matters continued for several years after Yellow Cab and Transfer Co. closed permanently in July 1975. There are also several news items and feature stories from earlier and later years, and one or two excerpts from opinion/editorial columns.
